PREAMBLE

We, the Grand Sanhedrin, decree that the following is the natural law of the all Spinozists, adjustable in circumstances only by us, the Grand Sanhedrin, and future Grand Sanhedrins.

The constitution defined here is a reflection of the social eternal truth as is known by the Union of Spinozist Communities. This document grants the Union the individual powers needed in order to nourish the Union’s collective power, while aiding all members of our society to draw pursue the desire for personal development.

The primary cause of this Union is none other than Hashem, as all that is, because It is. The Union’s understanding of Hashem causes the Union to; create greater freedom which is beneficial to the state of Nature, preserve the security and harmony of all, remove those who wish from Ra and to seek a common good, and the development of solidarity and friendship.

According to the knowledge of our Tannaim, relayed by the Admors over generations, the Union works at showing the universal truth of the immanence of Hashem, Hashem’s omnipotence through the infinite number of attributes whereby Hashem is, the bond of the substance of all modes to the divine substance, and the eternity of that substance, we erect the following principle of life, desire and eternity.

Herein describes the organization and hierarchy of the Union of Spinozist Communitie, the functions of the Union, the esoteric paths of Truth, which lead to Tov, the enlightenment of Nature, and Liberty, within our Substance.

As one, as several, as a whole, as a community.

Here are our strengths, here are our weaknesses, as each Spinozist naturally understands the need to respect this constitution.


For Hashem, by Spinozists, through the Tzadiks, Admors and Tannas.

Article I. The Spiritual Hierarchy of the Union of Spinozist Communities.

None are higher by any natural force, but instead through personal knowledge.

I. Hazak

a. Definition: Hazak is one that does not realize that one lives in Ra, complete ignorance to the truth of Hashem and nature.

b. Membership: All non Spinozists are considered Hazaks, although on occasion a non Spinozist may be able to raise themselves toward Tov.

II. Matspoune

a. Definition: Matspoune is one that has realized that they are living in Ra and wishes to begin the journey to Tov. One that wishes to join the Union of Spinozist Communities.

b. Membership: A Matspoune is one that has come to a Moreh or Admor requesting aid in the journey to Tov.

III. Havana

a. Definition: One that has begun the journey and has gained some understanding of Hashem and nature.

b. Membership: In order to rise from Matspoune to Havana one must perform the Rite of Acceptance. This is done through writing the Primotexto, a text in which one describes how one came to realize the truth of the Union of Spinozist Communities. The Primotexto is then given to the Moreh who will examine this and give approval.

IV. Hesed

a. Definition: One who has gained the proper reasoning in order to determine what one’s causes are.

b. Membership: In order to rise from Havana to Hesed one must request that they be given the Rite of Reasoning. The Admor of the Havana‘s eretz will then give a subject on which the Havana must write, named a Sensotexto. After submitting the Sensotexto, the National Sanhedrin will proceed to ask questions about this text. When the questioning is over the Sanhedrin will discuss the results and determine if the Havana is now a Hesed.

V. Hiroute

a. Definition: One who has learned all of one’s causes and has made the conscious decision to free oneself. A Hiroute has felt Tov and at times, through much meditation, reach Tov.

b. In order to rise from Hesed to Hiroute one must go through the Rite of Questioning. The candidate will become the disciple of a specific Tanna for the term of one month. At this end of the term, if the Admor Ikar feels that the candidate is properly ready the candidate will be brought before the Grand Sanhedrin. A council chosen specifically by the Grand Sanhedrin will then proceed to publicly ask the candidate 7 questions; 1 personal, 2 on doctrines, 2 sample problems, and 2 which are foolish. While publicly held, the only ones that have the right to speak are members of the council, any Tanna present, and the candidate. After the questioning the jury will decide if the candidate is now Hiroute.

VI. Tanna

a. Definition: One that has learned to take control of one’s causes. A Tanna may enter Tov at any moment, and many are in a constant state of Tov.

b. When a Hiroute feels that they have entered into this stage they may apply to join the Yeshiva of the Tanna. This must be done in the form of a final text explaining how one feels prepared to be a Tanna, this text will be called the Awakening. The application will not be accepted unless the Tanna have already discussed the Hiroute within their halls and has already decided that the Hiroute is prepared. If found ready, the Hiroute will be deemed a Tanna, but if not then an application may not reapply for a term of 3 months.

VII. Spinoza

a. Definition: One that has not yet come. It is the greatest of all modes found within Substance. It is considered inevitable that the Spinoza will come to the world, and when the Spinoza does all shall be able to live in Tov.

Article 2. The Heirarchy of Functions


I. The Yeshiva of Admors

a. Definition:

Master, Teacher and Officiate.

b. Primary Duties:

1. To take care of the education and the acceptance of the faith of the communities.
2. To teach the dogma of the faith.
3. To oversee the training of the spiritual practices of meditation and debate.
4. Officiate the ceremonies of the communities.
5. To advise followers in spiritual matters.

c. Heirarchy

1. MOREH

i. Area of Supervision: Individual town or Ezor.

ii. Building of faith: Beit Sefer (House of Books)

iii. Requirements:
a. To have reached the level of Hesed within the Spiritual Hierarchy
b. Level 2, preferably level 3 Church Way
c. Minimum of 60 points within both Charisma and Intelligence

2. ADMOR

i. Area of Supervision: Eretz

ii. Building of faith: Beit Knesset (House of Gathering)

iii. Requirements:
a. To have reached the level of Hiroute within the Spiritual Hierarchy
b. Level 3 Church Way
c. Minimum of 100 points within both Charisma and Intelligence

iv. Special Duties:
a. To sit on the National Sanhedrin
b. To assign and supervise all local Morehs

3. ADMOR GADOL

i. Area of Supervision: The National Community

ii. Building of Faith: The Temple

iii. Requirements:
a. To have reached the level of Tanna within the Spiritual Hierarchy
b. Level 3 Church Way
c. Minimum of 200 points within both Charisma and Intelligence

iv. Special Duties:
a. To lead the National Sanhedrin
b. To assign and supervise all national Admors
c. To sit on the Grand Sanhedrin of the Union of Spinozist Communities

4. ADMOR IKAR

i. Area of Supervision: The Union of Spinozist Communities

ii.Building of Faith: The Grand Temple of Jerusalem

iii. Requirements:
a. To have reached the level of Tanna within the Spiritual Hierarchy
b. Level 3 Church Way
c. Minimum of 200 within both Charisma and Intelligence
d. Must rise from the position of Admor Gadol.

iv. Special Duties:
a. To lead the Grand Sanhedrin


II. The Yeshiva of Tzadiks

a. Definition:

To judge and to protect.

b. Primary Duties:

1. To ensure that the customs and practices of the faith are protected.
2. To judge and punish those whom have broken the tenets of the faith.
3. To organize the militias and armies of the Spinozist community.
4. To protect the wellbeing of the community, from both violence and economic hardship.

c. Hierarchy

1. SHOMER

i. Area of Supervision: Individual Town or Ezor.

ii. Requirement:
a. To have reached the level of Hesed within the Spiritual Hierarchy.
b. Level 2, preferably Level 3 Military or State Way.
c. Minimum of 60 points within both Strength and Intelligence.

2. TZADIK

i. Area of Supervision: Eretz

ii. Requirement:
a. To have reached the level of Hiroute within the Spiritual Hierarchy.
b. Level 3 Military or State Way.
c. Minimum of 100 points within both Strength and Intelligence.

iii. Special Duties:
a. To sit on the National Sanhedrin
b. To assign and supervise all local Shomers
c. To create and lead an army if needed.

3. TZADIK GADOL

i. Area of Supervision: The National Community

ii. Requirements:
a. To have reached the level of Tanna within the Spiritual Hierarchy
b. Level 3 Military or State Way.
c. Minimum of 200 points within both Strength and Intelligence.

iii. Special Duties
a. To sit on the National Sanhedrin
b. To assign and supervise all national Tzadiks

4. TZADIK IKAR

i. Area of Supervision: The Union of Spinozist Communities.

ii. Requirements:
a. To have reached the level of Tanna within the Spiritual Hierarchy.
b. Level 3 Military or State Way
c. Minimum of 200 points within both Strength and Intelligence.
d. Must rise from the position of Tzadik Gadol.

iii. Special Duties:
a. To sit on the National Sanhedrin
b. To approve the creation of any Spinozist Militias
